I’m Leo Mamede, a Sydney-based videomaker and photographer with close to 20 years of experience creating videos and photos across cinema, advertising, and digital platforms.

I started out in feature films, working hands-on with cameras on medium and large-scale productions shot on 35mm. That background gave me a strong technical foundation and a real appreciation for visual storytelling — skills I still bring to every project today.

Over the years, I moved into advertising and branded content, working with a wide range of industries including construction, real estate, fitness, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. I’ve directed, filmed, and edited content for everything from polished brand videos to fast-paced social media.

I’m easy to work with, adaptable, and focused on finding solutions that make shoots run smoothly. With a creative background and a musician’s sense of rhythm, I pay close attention to pacing, flow, and how a story feels — not just how it looks.
